Agreement and who we are

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Positive Voices (“we,” “us”). They cover positivevoices.com, our course and community site at the.positivevoices.com, and the programs, courses, events and community we offer through them (together, “our sites”). By using our sites or buying from us, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use our sites.

Using our sites

You may use our sites and the materials you buy for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Our articles, videos, worksheets, courses, recordings, logos and other materials belong to Positive Voices or the experts and partners who created them, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Without our written permission, you may not:

• Copy, share, resell, record or publish our paid materials or recordings
• Teach, train or run programs from our materials
• Use our name, logos or our guest experts’ names to promote your own work
• Interfere with the sites, try to get into areas you don’t have access to, or use bots or scrapers on them

You are welcome to share links to our free pages and short quotes with credit to Positive Voices.

Accounts, community and what you post

Your account. Keep your login details private and give us accurate information. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Community conduct. Our live sessions, groups and community spaces work because people feel safe sharing. When you take part, please:

• Treat others with respect; no harassment, threats, hate or discrimination
• Keep what others share in sessions and groups confidential
• Don’t record live sessions or share screenshots of other members without their permission
• Don’t advertise, sell, or recruit members for your own business
• Don’t post anything illegal, false or that infringes someone else’s rights

We may remove posts or suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

What you post. You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to display it within our sites so the community can see it. We won’t use your name, words or image in our marketing without asking you first.

Ideas you send us. If you send us suggestions or ideas, we may use them freely and don’t owe you payment for them.

Purchases, subscriptions and refunds

Prices and payment. Prices are shown at checkout in US dollars. Payments are processed by our course platform and its payment processors.

Subscriptions. Memberships and other subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown at checkout until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing support@positivevoices.com. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.

30-day guarantee. If you’re not satisfied with a purchase, email support@positivevoices.com within 30 days of buying it and we’ll refund you in full.

Changes to programs. We may update program content, dates or guest experts. If we cancel a live program you’ve paid for, we’ll offer you a refund or a comparable alternative.

Email and text messages

If you join our email list, you’ll receive newsletters and program updates. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

If you sign up for Positive Voices texts, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing messages at the number you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

Educational content, not professional advice

Our programs share research-based practices from positive psychology and related fields for education and personal growth. They are not therapy, counseling, medical, legal or financial advice, and they don’t replace care from a qualified professional. Talk with your doctor or a licensed mental health professional about any health concern, and before making major changes to your health routines.

If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (in the US) or your local emergency number right away.

Everyone’s experience is different. We can’t promise any particular result, and you are responsible for the choices you make based on our content. Our guest experts speak for themselves, and their views are not necessarily ours.

Disclaimers and limits on liability

Our sites and programs are provided “as is.” We work to keep them accurate and available, but we don’t guarantee they will be error-free, uninterrupted or free of viruses.

To the extent the law allows, Positive Voices is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of our sites or programs. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.

Privacy, links, changes and governing law

Privacy. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we collect and use personal information.

Other websites. Our sites link to sites we don’t run. We aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

Changes. We may update these Terms. We’ll post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell you by email or a notice on our site if a change is significant. Using our sites after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If any part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
